What We Do

Neo Gen-Tech Charitable Foundation advances free early STEM+Innovation and green-technology learning for children in Uganda from age three through primary level, building practical digital and engineering foundations and progressively introducing coding, AI learning, electronics, and robotics through age-appropriate, project-based methods.

Nurturing Innovating Minds;  Code. Create. Conserve.

Our Three Major Pillars

Code

Build strong foundations in computing and AI readiness-so children can think better, learn faster, and create with confidence.

We start with basic computer confidence (including Microsoft tools) then build toward computational thinking plus AI usage and applications.

  • Digital basics (typing, files, safe internet habits)
  • Coding foundations (logic, blocks, beginner programming)
  • AI literacy (what AI is, what it can/can’t do)
  • AI as a learning accelerator (asking better questions, verifying, improving)
  • Ethics & safety (privacy, misinformation awareness, responsible use)

Create

Build and present real projects-so children move from ideas to working solutions, learn by doing, and improve through iteration.

Children learn how technology works by building: electronics basics, robotics challenges, simple engineering projects, and maker activities linked to real-world learning

  • Project-based STEM builds (design → build → test → improve)
  • Practical innovation: from problem to prototype
  • Real deliverables (digital + hands-on projects)
  • Presentations and demos (explain what, why, how)
  • Iteration through feedback and troubleshooting
  • Mini CTA: See learning projects

Conserve

Combine STEM with stewardship—building green habits and using trackable data to protect the environment and drive measurable impact.

We embed environmental stewardship into learning and action through 1 + 3 GREEN BEGINNINGS, one child-three trees planted and nurtured, thus green-innovation protects the future as it advances it.

  • 1 + 3 Green Beginnings (trees linked to each child)
  • Climate-smart habits (water, waste, energy)
  • Green-tech learning
  • Simple data tracking (measure, record, improve)
  • Community action projects (school + home)
